About Us

The first Earth Sole was created in South Africa in 2020 by founder Anouk Anansi. She wanted to stay connected to the earth while still enjoying the free, natural feeling of going barefoot.

Today, we’re proud to have a small but talented team of artisans. Each pair is made to order, taking about 2.5 hours to craft. We prioritize quality over quantity and taking pride in creating beautiful, purposeful shoes.
