Earth Sole began as a small brand in Cape Town in May 2022. As the focus shifted to online and international markets, Aard Footwear took the lead in expanding our leather barefoot shoes in South Africa in November 2024.
 

Though the name and ownership have changed, everything else remains the same. Our shoes are still handcrafted in Cape Town, now from our new studio in Noordhoek. We continue to use repurposed leather and traditional techniques to create comfortable, grounding footwear that supports your feet's natural shape. Our commitment to sustainability, quality, and timeless design remains at the heart of what we do.
